Our filter head is designed with a larger 'foot' than standard to provide more stiffness and less chance of leakage.
This kit has the tapped hole to take an adaptor for a temperature sensor. Adaptor sold separately.
The kit includes the 11/16" UNF adaptor for the later engine block.Please be aware, that some alternators sit above the point where the sensor fits. This will limit the height available for the sensor. Later alternators are shorter and do not get in the way.
