This is a brand new casting, taken from an original model and redeveloped with improved features from the later 45D. There is an added an oil seal on the shaft of these redeveloped 25D bodies that Lucas introduced with the 45D. It makes for a better, longer lasting product, while remaining aesthetically identical to the original Lucas 25D.
We offer the same system using the later 45D4 body so you can choose your period looks with the same high quality.
